7th June: Portrait Workshop – led by Alan Colegrave ARPS BPE1

Many thanks to Alan for organising and running last night’s workshop, providing studio lighting equipment and our two beautiful models, Francesca and Mariana.

Alan gave us some ‘starters for ten’ on camera settings and we were off! It was a joy to be have  the opportunity to experiment with the lighting and ‘pose’ our models as we photographed them.  It was certainly an informative and fun evening.

Thanks again to Alan for the work that went into setting everything up and very special thanks to our gracious and patient models.  Some of their portraits may well be seen in future competitions!

Next week we have our Annual Monochrome and People/Portraits Print competitions which will be judged by Micki Aston from Windsor Photographic Society.
