During our summer break we have a project ‘challenge’ to produce a set of images that tick the box of ‘Minimalism’ – we’ll see the results during our first meeting of the 24/25 season which will be over zoom.

We look forward to seeing them and visitors too.

In the meantime here’s hoping summer will stay for more than just the odd day!

Our AGM completes our programme for the 23/24 season and we take a break until 2nd September.

Following the formal business of the evening we showed a selection of winning images and prints and presented recipients with their certificates.

Over the summer (hopefully summer will come!) we have a challenge for those who wish to participate.  The subject is ‘Minimalism’  (easier to say than spell!) and follows on from one of the superb talks we had during the year.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our ‘show and tell’/feedback session with images of their choice.  Subjects included  photographs taken earlier in the year during an experiential workshop which included a table-top challenge to photograph coffee mugs, before and after competition images, the effect of  lighting, travel and birds!  It was an enlightening and informative evening and a lot of fun.

Next week is our AGM  which will be held at Century.
