Overview of Internal Competitions
Our Competition Year starts in September to the end of the season.
Every member is entitled to enter whether they are new or experienced photographers. Entering competitions is entirely optional. Some people find competing helps them to improve their photography more quickly because they listen harder to the judges’ critiques, not only of their own work, but everyone else’s too.
Competitions are assessed by an external judge, accredited by The Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) or other Federations of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).
Single image competitions include Open sections and specialist sections for Landscapes, Monochrome, Montage, Nature, People, and a Set Subject which changes each year.
Multiple image competitions include Panel of Prints and Set of Projected.
