24th February: Open and Mono Print Comps judged by Martin Patten
Many thanks to Martin for judging last night. As ever his commentaries were informative, discerning, erudite and entertaining.
Congratulations to YC Wei who won the Open section with ‘The City of London’; Judith Gimber’s ‘Long-billed Curlew with Catch’ was second and Peter Keeble’s ‘ Lovely Buttons’, third. Mark Buckley-Sharp’s ‘Smokey Joe’ was highly commended.
The Monochrome Trophy was won by Sanjay Mistry with ‘Inked’ – hearty congratulations. Judith’s ‘Lone Skater’ skated off in second place and Avril Candler’s ‘Mother and Son’ was third. Judith’s ‘Lighting-Up Time’ and YC’s ‘Solid Light’ were highly commended.
Thanks to everyone who entered the competitions and came along to support the evening. Special thanks once again to Martin.
