This week heralded our first time in our new venue.  It was an ‘orientation’  meeting where our plans were put into practice;   logistics and timing of the set-up, storage, equipment testing and most importantly making the coffee!  We are very fortunate to have the luxury of space, access to an commercial equipped kitchen, ‘facilities’ and soft chairs!

We look forward to greeting competing club members on the 25th September for the Ron Wake Trophy print competition.

Before that,  next week (the 18th) is the first of our projected image competitions, the specialist section is Nature and  the Open section is anything else.  This will be a Zoom meeting and the competition is being judged by Daan Olivier FRPS EFIAP.

P.S. Century Bowling & Sports Club is hosting the Mayor of Brent’s Wellness day this Saturday, 16th,  from 11am to 4.00pm and members of our club will be there too, so if you’re wondering what a photography club is all about, do pop in for a chat.
