4th October: Monochrome and Open Projected Image Competitions – judged by Chris Sargeant
Many thanks to Chris Sargeant for judging last night’s competitions and doing a fine job of critiquing across the variety of subject matter in both the Monochrome and Open sections.

Three images were highly commended – ‘Liverpool Street Station’ by Trevor Alexander, ‘Market Trader Uzbekistan’ by Alan Colegrave and ‘Shy Alto’ by Ron Churchill. Chris also ‘commended’ five images: one each to Dave and Judith, two to Alan Colegrave and to Peter Keeble for his ‘Holmes in Baker Street’.
In the Open section first place and congratulations went to Avril Candler for ‘A Touch for Reassurance’ and her ‘Wattled Crane Portrait’ was third. In second place was ‘Camargue Nets’ by Peter Polkinghorne. Peter Elton’s ‘Dewey Banded Demoiselle’ and ‘Garden Frog’ were highly commended as were Trevor’s ‘Turkish Ceramics’ and Ron’s ‘No it Goes This Way’.
